The wireless system has just a base transmitter which is plugged in in your house or shed and then your dog wears a receiver collar
The base unit broadcast signal outwards and your dog stays within this signal if your dog goes out of signal they receive a correction
The wireless system has a minimum recommended operating radius of 50 m meaning if the base transmitter was plugged in in your shed then your dog from that point should be allowed at a minimum 50 m in every direction
The wired system has a wire that is run around your property and plugged into a base unit which will be in your house or shed
Your dog wears a receiver collar And if your dog gets near the wire to which distance you can set they will receive a beep first and then a small static correction and if they proceed to get closer they will receive an increased static correction
