Gps Dog Fence F830 Plus For Medium and Large dogs

Hugo is a year old and wants to explore, naturally. I wanted him to have the freedom to explore the garden area without me having to watch him constantly. I had tried everything and the GPS collar was my last resort. After a week of training he has not gone outside of the zoned area. Setting up the collar was really easy and Amy was brilliant with advising positioning and any questions I had. 100% love it

We live in a rural location with lots of forestry. Our dogs loved to chase deer and would evaporate at the first sniff. I really didn't think this system would work, as I though out older stubborn large dog would blow through the limit and stay going. Have to say, both dogs were fully trained in two days. They have a wide range but not enough to get into trouble. The system works really well even out here in the sticks. Really recommend, affordable, no digging or wires, simple to setup ! Everyone happy!

I am very happy with the GPS collar I recently purchased from Western Pet products.Dixie ,my blue merle Collie mix,learned very fast where his boundaries are.Ir is great that you don't have to have the shock setting on,I only have the beeper and vibraration on and that is enough to teach him. Our Collie Sheep Dog is five months and the GPS has been a game changer in training him to stay close but yet give him some freedom. As you can see by the photo we have a few acres but didn’t want him to go too far, especially to neighbouring land. He stays around even if he isn’t wearing the collar. Highly recommend the collar. We would be lost without it - large mix breed: red setter/golden retriever. We live near a busy road and thankfully stops wandering. Great collars! We have a Weimaraner mother and daughter pair whose hunting instincts had taken over completely and although they are more interested in the surrounding fields, they would cross roads and gardens to get there. This caused all sorts of problems of course. We have a lovely big garden and adjacent field of our own almost impossible to close off securely and avoid all risk of a door or gate being opened. They would escape in an instant as soon as any of us were distracted. We didn’t have a place we could put a central unit as required by many collars so gps was the best option for us. Nonetheless I was dubious these would work as our dogs’ drive is so high but we were desperate. It was like magic! We did the training and within about 10 days we had two well behaved dogs who wouldn’t dream of leaving their designated area. Not without drawbacks. They do need to be charged every night not a big deal, but if charge runs low they beep. The same beep as warning. This stresses the dogs and in my opinion is unnecessary. No sound or a different sound would be preferable. It also needs resetting every week and again beeps when this is required another unnecessary stress. On the whole a great product that really works even for highly strung prey driven hunting dogs. They’ve discovered there’s actually prey to pester in our own garden/ field and happily spend lots of time noseying around their allocated zone.

My original collar started dropping GPS signal and the shock and vibration items on the collar ceased to work and my dog got used to it and escaped numerous times,however Amy replaced the collar under warranty and I must add ..sent out the replacement collar while my old collar was in return transit ....the new collar is working perfectly. GPS is at 4 bars once set every morning and the beep and shock parts of the collar are working perfectly and more importantly my dog has not escaped since.. absolutely unequalled service in my opinion and the collar is perfect at it's job 👍👍👍👍👍

We had technical issues with it first 3 collars, we use them for our goats. But Amy was amazing. She has sent us 3 replacement collars, & these work so much better. The battery lasts for 3 days. We do take the collars off at night. But befire they only lasted half a day. The new ones have changed our daily lives. We can now trust them, & know the goats are staying in our fields.

I placed markers at 85yards, with no prongs on collar. Scruffy has leant that when it starts beeping she must come to me. I just have to ensure collar is tight enough. She's 6 months old and takes her twin to the stream to play, hopefully this will make her a little more responsive when I call her.
